Pringle Bay: Founded in 1798 as a fishing village, Pringle Bay was named after Rear Admiral Thomas Pringle and along with its sister villages of Betty's Bay and Kleinmond, is used by many Capetonians as a weekend getaway spot.
Betty's Bay: Established in 1930, Betty's Bay was named after Betty Youlden, daughter of the town's founder, Arthur Youlden.
Kleinmond: Meaning "small mouth" in Afrikaans, Kleinmond was established in 1875 as a fishing village. The picturesque harbour is a stopping point.

When you come on a tour with us, you will be treated to interesting out-of-the-classroom lessons and discussions which may include geography, history, science, politics, philosophy, sociology and art, not to mention an introduction to the myriad culinary delights that this part of the world has to offer!Kim has been in the wine industry either part- or full-time for the last 25 years. As a young stay-at-home mom, she did in-store promotions on weekends and developed an insatiable curiosity for all the facets of the wine industry when she sat in on some of Cape Wine Academy Diploma Level lectures. This prompted her to begin her own studies and she has been learning about wine ever since. Someone once asked her how much she knows about wine - her answer remains the same today: “I know enough about wine to know that I know next to nothing.”What she does know is that she loves taking people on tours through the magical vineyards in the Western Cape. There are so many to choose from and so little time…George has been interested in wine since the very early days of the Cape Wine Routes – influenced by the forward-thinking maverick estates he built up a great love of wine and its culture as well as a significant wine cellar. Formalising his knowledge with a Cape Wine Academy Certificate, he also became very involved with many of the top wine farms handling electronic marketing and wine club administration on their behalf. A long-term business relationship with Kim has cemented and added immensely to his knowledge, culminating in a successful additional qualification as a cultural & historical tour guide. He has a superb knowledge of the Cape and all its components – from history through geography, geology, sociology and anthropology.
