Hermanus boats numerous beaches and Grotto Beach is the largest and has acquired Blue Flag status. It has an exquisite backdrop of mountainous areas carpeted in pristine Cape Fynbos. These Hills are riddled with walking and hiking trails, and attract paragliders and hang- gliders from around the World. A Coffee break and Town visit is possible for 25 min.

Cape L'Agulhas Lighthouse, the 3rd to be built on the South African Coast in 1840 and design based on the Pharos of Alexandria, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
