Enjoy our 1h Breakfast Horse Trail at the historic Vrede en Lust Wine Estate, nestled in the foothills of the Simonsberg in South Africa’s most celebrated Franschhoek wine valley. A unique way to explore the area at a gentle pace allowing you to take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys working up an appetite for a delicious breakfast, fragrant coffee, and tea or pastry of your choice at the Lust Bistro & Bakery.

Wear: Tight long pants with a closed shoe that has a slight heel, or if you have riding gear, Jodhpurs and half or full chaps, comfortable riding boots, or bring whatever you usually wear to ride.
Bring: A Camera, Sunglasses, Sunscreen and Allergex if you have hayfeaver
Maximum weight: 95kg

All riders are required to wear a helmet. Helmets are tight fitting; please note that wigs or extensions can cause the helmets to not fit. Therefore, we request that all riders have their hair in a practical hairstyle when coming for horse or quad bike riding as no one will be allowed out without a helmet.

This experience is unfortunately not suitable for people with epilepsy.
