Take a view of the Long beach from this magnificent scenic drive. Learn about the history of this scenic drive which took 7 years to build between 1915 and 1922.

In winter lookout for the whales gliding in couples along the coast.

Visit this popular beach considered to be the main surfing spot in Cape Town. Currently home to surfing community known as Surfer's Corner.
Take a walk on the pure white sand beach as you encounter many beach goers including local kids learning how to surf. Look out for the jelly fish as this is home to many of them.

Take a walk to the colored houses where you can take a great selfie next to these attractive colorful house used as change rooms by the locals.

There is also shark alert flags hoisted by the City of Cape Town advising beach goers of potential shark sightings. Learn how to interpret those flags as they can save your life.

Along the pavilion there are several coffee shops, restaurants and bars. Grab yourself a cup of coffee or a soft cone from one of the shops. Take a dive into the cool water so you can test your swimming skills.
