Next to these peaks is the iconic Table Mountain - one of the new 7 Wonders of Nature. This is the most popular place in Cape Town where visitor go to see and be seen. It is also referred to as the place of the rich and famous as it is a playground of international celebrities visiting Cape Town.
Lined along the main road are trendy coffee shops, restaurants, bars and only two hotels which also attract international models. There is also art and craft sold by locals.

Home of the freshest fish and chips in Cape Town. This is where we have the biggest fishing industry in Cape Town.Travelers can also see many fishing boats and seals on the harbor.
Great location for nice selfies and group photos. Take a walk on the harbor and shop African art and Craft. Time permitting travelers can take a ferry to Seal Island where they can see more than 5 000 seals at any one time.
Travelers are free to grab a cup of coffee or indulge in some of the local snacks including traditional koeksisters.

Chapman's Peak Drive

Amazing architectural feat for almost 10 km. This hand crafted scenic drive leaves you in awe. With 114 curves from start to finish.
Here is another great opportunity for amazing photos. The amazing landscape with a combination of the mountains, the ocean and the blue sky. The View is simply jaw dropping from all directions. Travelers are spoiled for choice as there are more than a dozen photo stops here.
In winter travelers can also see the whales gliding in couples. The sight of the wire nets tilting on the mountain cliffs which are meant to protect the boulders from falling on the driveway are a marvel to watch.

The towering lighthouse is the major attraction here. Take a three minute ride of the funicular from the parking to the lighthouse. The views from the top are amazing with the unspoiled Diaz Beach below.
Several lookout positions provides travelers with countless photo stops. A little bit of a healthy hike for 62 steps to the top is a welcome relief to many travelers. Time permitting you can take a walk down to the car park.
This is also one of very few locations which has been declared to have the freshest air in the world. There are lots of critters at this place.

Lookout for the African Baboon which is notorious for snatching food from travelers. This is one of the several animal species found at this place. Some of which are the Eland, the Wilderbeast and Zebras. Wild Ostriches can also be seen feeding in this area.
We have over 270 bird species ranging from ostriches down to tiny sunbirds and warbles. There are 25 species of birds of prey. There are over 1 000 plant species of which 14 are endemic to this place.
There is also a bustling marine life with the seals being a major attraction here. Different fish species that include the hake, snooke and the yellow tail among others.
The waves constantly crush against the rocks because of the violent winds experienced here most of the time. This is also the coast which claimed many ships in the 17th century. There are many shipwrecks dotted around this site. One of the most photographed places on the African continent.
There is also a hiking trail which takes 45 minutes to get to Cape Point.

Simon's Town
One of the oldest settlements in South Africa. With several museums which provides information about the coming of the Dutch. Look out for the colonial Dutch architecture along the main road. These properties have been declared a national heritage.
Since this is home to the South African Navy war ships can always be seen that includes the Frigates. This is home to the second biggest fishing industry hence there are a lot of fishing boats on the jetty. This place is a popular place for lunch because of its big number of restaurants serving South African dishes.
Art and craft is all over with attractive antique shops along the main road. Take a walk along the main road with many African clothing shops and much more.

Boulders Beach Penguin Colony

A major tourist attraction which attracts thousands annually. Here is the penguin colony which started as a couple in 1982 but now there are more than 4 000.
Travelers can access them from the Foxy beach where there are wooden protective barriers and also from Boulders' beach where they can swim with hem.

Visit this popular residential area formerly known as the Malay Quarter. Located on the slopes of Signal Hill. This place attracts visitors all year round.

Drive past this beautiful seaside village situated on the False Bay coast Between Muzenberg and Kalk Bay. Look out for the colorful Victorian-style bathing boxes, tidal pool and rock pools.
Look out for the attractive houses built in limestone, plaster and stone with traditional thatched roofs. There are several restaurants and ice cream shops serving soft cone.
Here is also home to the oldest bar in South Africa - The Brass Bell.

Muizenberg Beach

Visit this popular beach - with pure white sand stretching all the way to Strand. Take a walk on this long beach and look out for jelly fish which are always seen all the time.
Look out for the several surf shops which are popular for renting our surf equipment and provides surf instructors to learners. As you explore this beach look out for the shark alert flags hoisted by the City of Cape Town. Learn to interpret these the meaning of these flags as they will save your life.

Take a 45 minute to 1 hour ferry ride to this small island which is home to over 5 000 seals. Getting to the Hout Bay Harbor look out for the ferry departing for Seal Island.
Look out for several art and craft vendors selling locally produced stuff. The ride to seal island takes up to an hour. There are countless opportunities to take photos on this trip as you are surrounded by the mountains. Explore this magnificent bay which is home to the biggest fishing industry in Cape Town.
