One of the New 7 Wonders of Nature. The only one of the new 7 wonders which is in a city. Great photo location as travelers can get a bird's eye view of the city.
From the cable car station at the foot of the mountain travelers can take a 3 minute ride to the top of this famous mountain. Amazing view of the City of Cape Town can be seen all the way up to the blouberg beach which is one of the longest in Cape Town.

An attractive location with an amazing vintage point of the entire city. From the top travelers can see Roben Island, the V & A Waterfront shopping mall and the Cape Town Stadium.
It is also from here that a canon is fired everyday at 12 noon as a tourist attraction. The views of table mountain and part of the Atlantic seaboard leaves you in awe. Weather permitting paragliders take off from here towards the Atlantic ocean.
With several mobile coffee shops travelers can grab a cup of coffee. It is the most popular sundown location in Cape Town where local and international travelers converge to witness the sun going down.

Several statues of South African historians cannot be missed and giant monuments. There is also a restaurant serving South African dishes. Not to be left out are the critters in this place with the most popular being the squirrel which you can feed with peanuts.
This is no doubt the center of history in Cape Town. The South African Izikio Museum with a planetarium is also part of the star attraction in this garden.

This museum is also on the top attractions as it provides the history of slavery at the Cape. A visit to this museum exposes you to the ills of slavery, the origins of slaves at the Cape and its effects.
Information about slavery, collection of the tools which they used during that time lays bare the evils of that system. There are also video clips which also provides an in depth insight as to what transpired at the height of slavery at the Cape.

Another museum which provides information about the forced removals at the Cape between 1966 and 1968. A visit to this place informs the travelers of the origins of apartheid and its effects on the disadvantaged communities.

Castle of Good Hope

The centre of civilian rule at the Cape by the respective governments between the Dutch and the British. This is the oldest standing colonial building in South Africa. One of the most well preserved structure of the Dutch East India Company globally.
The residence of the highest order of respect at the Cape by then. A fort which was meant to defend the Cape from all possible attacks. A canon is also fired here everyday at 12 noon.
There is also the William Ferhur Art collection in this place.
