This is a Museum which will expose the ills of slavery at the Cape to the travelers. This Museum provides a lot of information as to when slavery was introduced at the Cape and when. It also tells the origins of the slave community and who were the slave masters.
Travelers will experience life of a slave at the Cape through a video which plays over and over again same historical series of slavery. Here you will learn about the slave trade routes, the harsh conditions slaves were exposed to and the inhuman equipment used to control and torture slaves.

District Six Museum

This is a Museum which tells the travelers how non whites were forcibly removed an area declared to be whites only by the apartheid government in 1966.
These removals took place as from 1968 and resulted in the creation of township where people were settled according to their racial groupings.
Travelers will learn the events leading to the forced removals and the effects of this inhuman act by the government of apartheid.

Castle of Good Hope

This is a structure which was built by the Dutch between 1667 and 1672. Travelers will explore the oldest standing colonial building in South Africa and one of the most preserved structures of the Dutch East India Company worldwide.
Travelers can take a walk in this pentagon shaped Castle which was the centre of civilian and military life at the Cape. This Castle was used by the respective governments of the Dutch and the British as governments changed hands at the Cape. A canon is fired in the Castle every day at 12 noon.
