We pause at Simon's Town's Just Nuisance monument. Your tour guide will regale you with the endearing tale of Just Nuisance, a successful member of the South African Navy. Our next destination is the Boulders Beach penguin colony, where your guide will take you to the observation platform so you can get up close and personal with a few of the 2500 breeding pairs of African penguins. Cape of Good Hope

The Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point Lighthouse serve as the tour's highlights. We shall examine the Dias and Vasco Da Gama crosses here. Around 1487 and 1495, these two gentlemen became the first early European settlers in Cape Town. Please wear appropriate walking shoes, carry sunscreen, a jersey or jacket, and a hat. In a small group setting, the entire tour will be led by your own private tour guide.

Old Cape Point Lighthouse

We will be able to take the Funicular or a short stroll to the Cape Point lighthouse from the Cape of Good Hope. We will also investigate the Cape Point, the westernmost tip of Africa, where the warm Agulhas current of the Indian Ocean meets the chilly Benguela current of the Atlantic Ocean. We'll investigate the lighthouse, and so forth.
