Experience Overview:
Explorer Kayak TripThe Explorer Paddle is for those who want to explore deeper into the West Coast National Park. You’ll spend around four hours on the water and stop for a tasty lunch on a deserted beach along the way. The routes are determined by the wind and in summer we like to get on the water early before the wind comes up in the afternoon. For those who have experience in kayaking, we have 6 sit inside ruddered sea kayaks which are better suited to open ocean condition .
Our beach house, Indigo Blue, is available on a self catering basis as well as part of a fully catered, all inclusive package. Other overnight options include our cute and cosy houseboat, Baby Blue Too as well as a variety of other accommodations option in the village. Ask us for more info if you are interested. We can also offer fully equipped and skippered semi rigid inflatable for day’s fishing or water skiing on the lagoon.

Gravity currently has the right to operate commercial sea kayaking trips in the beautiful West Coast National Park. With the jewel-like Langebaan Lagoon as its centerpiece, this park offers adventurers something different. Stunning bird life, magnificent scenery, excellent local seafood, and exciting fishing are just some of the elements that make the ‘weskus’ so special.
We offer a variety of day trips as well as some overnight options. All our trips are suitable for paddlers of all skill levels and are especially fun for families with kids. We use two-man sit-on-top kayaks which are very stable and easy to paddle, buoyancy aids and paddles are provided. A light windbreaker is recommended.

Return and Refunds policy
The provision of goods and services by Gravity River Tours is subject to availability (weather, minimum group size and other factors). In cases of unavailability, Gravity River Tours will make every effort to rebook/reschedule the service. If that is not possible, the client will be refunded in full, as soon as possible.
Cancellation policy - Cancellation by client
30 days cancellation before arrival 100% refund
29 – 15 days cancellation before arrival 75% refund
14 – 4 days cancellation before arrival 50% refund
3 days-24 hrs cancellation before arrival 0% refund

Payment options accepted
Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, credit cards for online bookings. Bank transfers or cash will only be accepted for direct bookings into the Gravity River Tours bank account, the details of which will be provided on request
Credit card acquiring and security
Credit card transactions will be acquired for Gravity River Tours via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no credit card details are stored on the website. Customer details separate from card details
