Camps Bay is a favourite wedding destination, and many romantic couples have given each other their vows on Camps Bay beach. It is also a campground of suntanners and sundowners.
Camps Bay is also referred as the place of the rich and famous that visit it. It has some of the most expensive residential properties in South Africa.

There are a few boats that ferry tourists to Duiker Island also known as seal Island. Take a ferry to this famous island for an opportunity to encounter more than five thousand seals.
Out at the harbor you can also come across a few seals which have been attracted out of water by the locals. This is also home to snorkeling. There is an art and craft shop with a diamond museum for those interested in jewellery.
The harbor is surrounded by amazing photo backgrounds of mountains.

Chapman's Peak Drive

This is a stunning 9km route that has 114 curves that meanders the rocky coastline of Chapman’s Peak – a 593 m high southerly extension of Constantia Berg/mountain. On the drive you will be able to get stunning 180° views of scenic surroundings. There are many places along the route where you can sit down for an African picnic experience.
Chapman's peak drive was constructed between 1915 and 1922 despite Cape Town only having two cars at that time! It also the place where the most popular car accident happened in South Africa when a Mercedes Benz plunged 100m down but the driver came out unscathed.
After Chapman's peak drive you will head into Chapman' Bay also known as Long Beach that is very beautiful. If fortunate, you might be able to spot whales on this stretch.

Home to the South African Navy. Take a walk in this old village with its beautiful colonial Dutch architecture.
Take a walk along the main road and look out for the statue of Just Nuisance. Able Seaman Just Nuisance - the only dog ever to be officially enlisted in The Royal Navy.
There are also many art and craft shops and a few vendors selling quality curios. The main road is lined with old school fashion shops. Out at sea there are many fishing boats as this is home to the second biggest fishing industry in Cape Two.
Look out for the baboons which are a menace to the locals as they are chased away by the baboon minders. This is also home to several museums which provides a lot of information about the history of South Africa.
There are as more than ten restaurants in this area so you are spoiled for choice when you think about lunch.
