Take a walk on this top beach in Cape Town. Enjoy a beach walk on the most popular and the most visited beach in Cape Town. Weather permitting you can also see paragliders all the way from Lion's head heading towards the Clifton Beach.
An attractive beach which has always been on the blue flag status.
Look out for the trendy coffee shops, restaurants and a hotel the Bay Hotel. Take a walk on the pure white beach sand and enjoy a few minutes under one of the beach umbrellas.
This is a very popular photo stop with the backdrop of the iconic Table Mountain. Also next to this wonder of nature is the dramatic Twelve Apostles peaks which provides a picturesque atmosphere.

Hout Bay

Visit this quaint village-one of the most beautiful residential areas in Africa. Surrounded by mountains, the ocean and of course with the African blue skies. This peaceful village is simply stunning.
Take a walk on the harbor where you can shop art and craft from all over Africa. You can take a ferry (optional activity) up to 1 hour to seal island where you can see up to 4 000 seals at one time. If not still look out for a couple of seals with locals where you can take an amazing photo or selfie with this adorable creature.
Grab a cup of coffee while you explore the fish processing factory at the harbor. There is an amazing view of dozens of fishing boats as this this is home to the biggest fishing industry in Cape Town. It is also the sight of the freshest fish and chips in Cape Town.

Seal Island
False Bay
Take an optional 45m minute boat ride to this island which is home to approximately 70 000 Cape Fur Seals. There is also about 24 different bird species on the island and among them are 200 kelp gulls and small groups of Cape and white-breasted cormorants.
The boat will take you to this island and gently circle the island giving everyone a great photo opportunity. The round trip normally takes 25min but is very much weather depended.
We discourage visits to this island in bad weather for safety reasons.

Chapman's Peak Drive

Drive and stop on this impressive architectural feat which is 114 curves and almost 10km long. This scenic drive offers several world class photo stops which has attracted movie makers and several commercials.
There are lots of interesting stories of the history and what has happened on this scenic drive since time immemorial. This road which was curved out of a softer sandstone but resting on top of a harder granite stone is no doubt work of outstanding artistry. skill, or workmanship.
Coming to the end you are met by an amazing view of the Long beach or Chapman's bay one of the unspoiled Blue Flag Status beaches.

Simon's Town
Simon's Town
This attractive town, one of the oldest settlements in South Africa full of rich history and several museums. Lookout for the Navy warships in the bay and many of the fishing boats on the the harbor.
This is also a very vibrant place as it attracts a lot of international travelers as they flock in for lunch and breakfast in many of the restaurants serving South African dishes and more. This is where we have lunch where there is a a wide range of dishes from steaks to seafood.
This is a place whose Dutch colonial architecture along the main road being declared a national heritage.
One of the main attraction is the statue of The Able Seaman Just Nuisance, a great Dane who is the only dog to be listed in the service of The British Royal Navy. There also is a sizeable art and craft market coupled with some old fashioned stores along the main road.

Boulders Beach Penguin Colony
Simon's Town, 7995
Visit this main attraction in Simon's Town- which is home to more than 4 000 penguins in their natural habitat. Access to this colony is controlled by wooden board walk that takes you at arms length from these flightless birds.
Learn a lot about this African Penguin which used to be called "The Jackass penguin because of its sound similar to that of a donkey.
Alternatively take a walk using the same ticket to the other entry point - The Boulders beach where you can paddle with the penguins. On this section beach goers are allowed to swim with the penguins, a great photo opportunity especially in summer.
Lookout for the Dassie, a well nourished rock rabbit found mainly in the Cape area.

Cape of Good Hope

Visit this historic place which shaped the trade between east and west in the sixteen hundreds. Visit the historic old light house at Cape Point. Look out for the second light house which was later built and is the one currently used as a nautical guide.
Look out for the Chacma baboon which is very popular with international visitors. In place you can also encounter the wild beasts, the antelopes, zebras, caracals and even the wild ostriches among others.
Take a walk up the walking trail from the car up up to the light house. Alternatively use the funicular which takes only 3 minutes to get to the top.

Explore this magnificent location which is a top attraction in Cape Town. Look out for the popular protea flower which is one of the main source of food for the baboons.
Look out for tortoises and 250 bird species with the most popular being the red winged bird. It is not uncommon to catch sight of whales, dolphins, dassies and seals.
Other animal species to look out for are otters. lynx, wild cats porcupines, mongooses, lizards insects. Out at sea this is a very rich place in marine life.
You can also encounter whales in season - between June and November each year. Lion seals are also part of the most sort after marine life at this location with several fish species like yellow tail and Galjoen - the national fish of South Africa.

Table Mountain Aerial Cableway

Take a ride in this amazing cable car which rotates 260 degrees as it takes you to the top of this popular landmark. Take a walk on the city side of the top and take countless photos of the "Mother City".
Take a walk along the walking trail as you learn the history of the city and Table Mountain itself. Look out for the critters and the ever popular Dassie.
Look out for Diaz beach a beautiful beach with pure white sand named after Bartolomeu Diaz. There is also a healthy walking trail which takes you from Cape Point to Cape of Good Hope. This is a great opportunity to get up close with some of the wild animals as you breath some of the freshest air in the world.

Muizenberg Beach

Visit this popular beach in Cape Town, famed for its ability to constantly supply surfing waves all year round. Take a walk on the pure white sand beach always a hive of activity with beach goers and student surfers.
Look out for the shark warning flags hoisted by the city of Cape Town to warn the beach goers. Visit the colorful houses for a great photo. These wooden box like houses are used by the locals as changing rooms.
There are many surf shops where you can rent surf equipment and apparel. Grab a cup of coffee or even a soft cone from one of the many shops at this popular beach.
