We meet you in the hotel lobby (please be ready 5–10 min early) within our 10 km zone—City Bowl, V&A Waterfront, Green/Sea Point, Fresnaye, Bantry Bay, Clifton, Camps Bay—or we meet at The Westin (07:10) if you’re outside the zone. We load into our Mercedes-Benz Sprinter (AC, USB ports, chilled water). The day before, we send your exact pickup time, guide/driver details, and official links to pre-purchase entrance tickets.

2) City Orientation Drive (10–15 min) — we set the scene
We roll past the Castle of Good Hope, Company’s Garden, and Parliament while we share how mountain, ocean, and history shaped Cape Town. We keep this short so we can reach the coast early.

3) Bo-Kaap Walk (20–30 min) — we wander the pastel streets
We stroll Wale & Chiappini Streets, chat about Cape Malay heritage, spices, and community stories, and we grab those colour-lane photos with Signal Hill behind us. Walking is easy (±400–600 m). We keep voices low and doorways clear. Restrooms are nearby on request.

4) Atlantic Seaboard & Maiden’s Cove (30–45 min) — we chase the view
We cruise via Mouille Point, Sea Point, Bantry Bay, Clifton to Maiden’s Cove. We hop out for postcard shots of Camps Bay under the Twelve Apostles (and sometimes Robben Island on clear days). It can be breezy, so we zip up jackets and secure hats.

5) Hout Bay Harbour & Market (30–40 min) — we explore the quay
We browse craft stalls, grab barista coffee, and look for cheeky seals with Sentinel Peak towering above the boats. Facilities and snacks are on the quay. We agree a regroup time so cruisers and non-cruisers sync perfectly.

6) Optional Seal Island Cruise (±40 min) — we board if seas allow
We take the ferry to Duiker Island (pay operator; weather-dependent; typically ~R120–R150 adult / ~R60–R75 child). We sit mid-ship if motion-sensitive and pack a windbreaker for ocean spray. If the cruise pauses for swells, we add extra harbour/photo time—no loss to the big sights.

Chapman's Peak Drive

7) Chapman’s Peak Drive (20–25 min; toll included) — we float above the ocean
We drive the legendary cliff-edge Chapman’s Peak Drive and pause at one or two viewpoints for epic photos. We stay behind barriers—gusts can be strong. Plan-B: if Chappies is closed (wind/rockfall), we reroute via Ou Kaapse Weg (Silvermine) and add a Noordhoek/Long Beach dune lookout—equally cinematic.

8) Noordhoek Farm Village (20–30 min) — we reset & refuel
We stretch legs beneath shady oaks, grab gelato/coffee or a pastry (own account), and browse artisan shops. This is our slow-life pause before the national park.

We thread through wind-brushed coves and fynbos dunes where raptors ride the thermals and waves comb the shore. Few coaches take this detour; we soak up the raw Cape Peninsula.

12) Cape of Good Hope Sign (25–30 min) — we get the bucket-list shot
We walk the short boardwalk/compacted path to the south-western tip sign and we line up the cliffs, surf and lettering for your photo. We keep food sealed—baboons can be curious. If you’re keen, we take a quick ridge path overlooking Dias Beach.

13) Cape Point & Old Lighthouse (60–75 min) — we climb or funicular
We choose: walk the paved path (moderate incline, rails) or ride the Flying Dutchman Funicular (card-only; not tiered by nationality): Return R105 adult / R55 child (6–16); One-way R90 adult / R50 child; under-6 free with an adult. At the top, we drink in 360° views over False Bay and the Atlantic, hear shipwreck legends, and use the café/shops/restrooms.

14. Simon’s Town & Lunch – 45 mins
We take a slow drive through Simon’s Town, one of South Africa’s oldest towns and the base of the South African Navy. Its Victorian buildings, harbor views, and naval history give it a unique charm.
You’ll learn about Just Nuisance, the only dog officially enlisted in the Navy, whose statue stands proudly in Jubilee Square.
We stop here for lunch at a seaside restaurant (own account). Your guide can recommend top local spots — from fresh seafood to Cape Malay cuisine — all with views over False Bay.

If traffic is kind, we swing by the colourful Victorian bathing boxes and tidal pools along False Bay. We watch for cyclists and surf schools. If the M3 is heavy, we skip this to keep drop-offs on time and we share alternate coastal lookouts as we turn citybound.

18) Return to Cape Town (~17:00–17:30) — we wrap the day smoothly
We cruise back (often via De Waal Drive) with Table Mountain in view and we drop you at your pickup/meeting point. If you like, we line up Table Mountain cableway, Franschhoek Wine Tram, Robben Island pre-booked tickets, or a private peninsula upgrade for another day.
