Table Mountain National Park

Take a 3 minute cable car ride to the top of this iconic mountain. Grab a photo opportunity as the cable car rotates 360 degrees en route to the top.
Take a walk on the table top and learn about the bird and plant species. Lookout for the dassie - the well nourished rock rabbit famous in the national park.

Explore the amazing view of the city of Cape Town including Robben Island and the entire bay. Outstanding is the long beach from the harbor all the way to Blauberg. You could meet some of the hikers who use several of the hiking trails to the top.

Lookout for the most popular beach in Cape Town Camps Bay and the Twelve Apostles peaks.

Camp's Bay Beach

Take a walk on this pure white sand beach and take a dip in the Atlantic Ocean. Look out for the iconic Table Mountain, The Twelve Apostles peaks and Lion's Head.
This is the most popular beach in the city because of its restaurants, hotels and coffee shops. Take as many photos as you like as this is a location with totally outstanding surroundings.

There are a few local vendors with amazing art and craft for your shopping. At times you also encounter some of Cape Town street entertainers showing off their gymnastic skills.

Hout Bay

Hout Bay

This is a very small but attractive village, surrounded by the mountains, the ocean and the African blue sky. Take a walk on the harbor and lookout for a seal or two out of water. Time permitting take a 45 - 1 hour boat ride to Seal Island where you will encounter more than 4 000 seals at any given time. This is not recommended when the sea is rough.
Lookout for the fish processing factory which sells freshly caught fish. There are countless fishing boats - as this place is home to the fishing industry in Cape Town.

You can also take a stroll around as you go through the art and craft on sale by the local vendors.

Chapman's Peak Drive

Explore this almost 10km scenic drive, an architectural feat curved on the mountain side. This is one of the most photogenic locations on this tour.
With 114 curves from start to finish there are several photo stops with totally outstanding surroundings. Site of several commercials with international companies and the most popular accident in Cape Town.

Along the way you are sure to encounter hikers, bikers, cyclists and others jogging up and down this scenic route.

Cape Point

Cape Point

Explore this beautiful nature reserve with an abundance of bird life, animal species and attractive plant species. Lookout for the 2 beacons built by the local Portuguese community.
This is also home to the Protea - the national flower. In this nature reserve are several animal species that include the Chacma baboons, Antelopes, Zebras, Caracal and the wild beasts.

There is the ever popular lighthouse which is accessible by a 12 minute walking trail or a 3 minute funicular. There is a flight of steps that takes you up.

Explore the few lookout positions wherefrom you can also grab a great view of the new lighthouse which is currently in use.

Get to the most South Western tip of Africa with an amazing view of choppy seas and a jaw dropping cliff. Time permitting you can take a 45 minute walk from Cape Point to this spot.
There are many photo opportunities at this location as the surroundings are totally outstanding. Boulders, choppy seas, seals and a vibrant bird life.

Sea weed is all over and the marine life is as vibrant as ever. There also are the wooden boards marked" The Most South Western tip of the Africa" which draws almost a million visitors annually.

Boulders Beach Penguin Colony

Explore this nature reserve which is home to more than 4 000 penguins. explore this place from several locations - from stony point with wooden boardwalk.
You can opt to peddle with the penguins at the Boulders' beach. Take a walking trail along the perimeter fence with countless arms length encounters with the flightless birds.

Also lookout for the dassie the rock rabbit found in the Table mountain Nature Reserve.

Simon's Town

This is one of the oldest settlements in South Africa. Lookout for the colonial Dutch architecture as you drive along the main road. Take a walk at the Jubilee square with several restaurants known to have quality sea food and South African dishes.
Out at sea you can see some of the war ships as this is home to the SA Navy. Take a walk and get close to the fishing boats which are at the harbor in abundance.

There are several shops selling art and craft including antiques. Old fashioned dressing is also available in abundance plus curio shops. There are several museums which provides lots of information about the history and culture of South Africa.

Take a walk on this expansive beach. With a constant supply of waves this is home to the surf schools in Cape Town. There are several surf shops with surf equipment for hire. Internationals and locals flock to this beach also because of the number of restaurants here and the coffee shops. Do grab a pizza for yourself.
The famous colorful houses contributes to the visitors as a lot of locals and internationals visit the houses for nice photos.
