You will realize some communities in Soweto still need development and poverty alleviation.

Other communities have developed into smart affluent Suburbs.
We give you an opportunity to do the tour of the house of the statesman,late President Mandela.
Guests are also given time to browse the flea market selling curios,artefacts and African clothing in case there is a need.
South African cuisine buffet lunch is optional.

Orlando Towers

The guided tour will take you through Diepkloof Extension; We stop to view and to share information about the family units,a wonderful project initiated by the late President Mandela, with an aim of giving decent homes to hostel dwellers.
The tour proceed, we pass Chris Hani Baragwanath hospital, the biggest hospital in Southern Africa and the third largest hospital in the world.
The distinctive colorful land mark Orlando Towers attracts most travelers to take pictures and to learn as our knowledgeable tour guides shares information.
The towers were cooling towers for the coal run power station supplying electricity to Johannesburg.
The station was closed in 1998, and transformed into,sporting,entertainment and business center in 2008.
The towers are used by businesses to advertise their products. Branding not permanent.

Hector Pieterson Memorial

Hector Pieterson Square, Soweto

Hector Pieterson memorial museum commemorates the lives of students who lost their lives, fighting for their rights in 1976, under police brutality.
The museum also depicts events of 1976 students uprisings and the general struggle for democracy in South Africa.
Entrance is Optional.
Local vendors by the museum are selling curios,beaded work, artefacts and African clothing.
We give you time to browse the flea market incase there is a need.

Vilakazi Street

Vilakazi Street, Soweto, 1804

The vibriant Vilakazi street is the Popular attraction in Soweto for both locals and International guests.
The houses of the two Nobel Prize winners former President Mandela and Archbishop Emeritus Tutu are situated on this street.
Sakhumzi restaurant is also situated on this street close to Tutu's house.
The restaurant is serving great South African cuisine buffet lunch in the form of dumplings, rice,mealie porridge (pap), Samp and sour Sorghum porridge.
Other appetising meals served include ,Beef stew, Chicken,Sausages( braai wors )Vegetables, Salads including the popular local salad Chakalaka and desert.

Mandela House

We visit the house of the World icon, late President Mandela situated in Vilakazi street.
Entrance and guided tour included.
Mandela lived in this house with his family before his life imprisonment.
The museum house provides an effective, efficient and meaningful experience to all visitors, informing them of the former President Nelson Mandela's story in the context of his life as a whole, in a manner that promotes Human rights, Democracy, Reconciliation, Mutual respect and tolerance amongst the people of South Africa and International community.
