Situated close to Nelson Mandela Bay, Addo is home to the densest population of African elephants on the planet. The reserve itself is also well-known for being the only park in the entire world to have all of Africa’s ‘Big 7’: Elephants, Rhinos, Lions, Buffalo, Leopards, Southern Right Whales and Great White Sharks can all be found in and around the reserve. During the safari, you will have the opportunity to take photos of African wildlife – but remember, they are wild and they can be somewhat shy, so be ready to take that all important snap if you do spot them. During your safari you'll be guided around the reserve, and given prime opportunities to take photos. With your guide, you'll discuss your findings and photography technique. You'll then be provided with a picnic basket lunch, with appetisers and drinks included – but if you’re still a little peckish afterwards, there is lunch available at the park when the safari is over.
