Full Day Horse Ride And Fishing Trip In Jackson

We take your horseback riding party on a fun-filled day of fishing on Willow Creek. The only way in is to walk or take a horse, this is way back in Willow Creek ? you have the whole creek to yourself! We will have a guide with you, showing you the good spots to fish. This trailride takes place 100% in the Bridger Teton National Forest and makes a full loop, allowing you to experience new scenery and views throughout the entire ride. Lunch is in included and we provide your fishing gear. You need only bring your fishing license. People come back from this ride with smiles from ear to ear.

You?ll experience beautiful mountain trails on horseback, winding through Douglas Firs, Lodge Pole Pine trees, Blue Sagebrush and Alpine Wildflowers. Riding along (and sometimes through) the crystal clear water flowing down Willow Creek toward the famous Snake River is sure to become a highlight from your visit to Jackson Hole.

Wildlife encounters are frequent and you ride through the natural habitat of the Rocky Mountain Elk, Mule Deer, Shiras Moose, Red Tailed Hawks and even our American Bald Eagle!

Lunch includes: A big deli sandwich, a bag of chips, an apple (for you or your horse), cookies, plenty of water.

A current Wyoming fishing license is required to be in your possession at all times to take part in this experience. You will be sent the details to purchase a license upon booking.

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your ride start time.

Horses are to be ridden at a walk at all times and riders must maintain proper spacing between horses.

Our Mountain Trail Rides start at the Willow Creek Trailhead located 16 miles south of Jackson, Wyoming. Under our BTNF permit, all rides take place 100% in the Bridger Teton National Forest. Each trailride makes a full loop, allowing you to experience new scenery and views throughout the entire ride.

We have excellent horses, most of which have been with us for years. Our guides will select a horse that best fits each rider based on size and riding experience, adjusting each saddle to ensure the most comfortable horseback riding experience.

Willow Creek Horseback Rides offers Jackson’s greatest variety in trail riding with 1 hour, 2 hour, 2 1/2 hour breakfast and lunch rides, 1/2 day, and full day guided fishing rides. Splash through crystal clear streams and view the spectacular mountain scenery, wildlife, and wildflowers on horseback, just as the Mountain Men and Native Americans did 200 years ago!
