Located in Wallingford just south of Woodland Park, the café and studio is dedicated to helping cats find their furrever homes. During your 30-minute timed slot you’ll be climbed on, chased, and used as a rubbing post in this café where cute, fluffy cats roam free. A unique and fun family outing during the day (for children over 5), the café then turns into an adults-only kitty time from late afternoon.

- 4 pm & after is reserved for 17+ only. Enjoy the cat lounge with fellow adults. Human kittens are not present during this hour.
- All other hours Age (6+) are welcome. At least one adult needs to be booked in order to open the booking for children.

Do I need to book a visit to the cat lounge ahead of time?
Reservations ahead of time is strongly encouraged.
Is there parking at the cafe?
We do not have dedicated parking for the cafe, please utilize the street parking nearby.
Is there an age restriction for the cat lounge?
We currently welcome any visitors 6 and older. But adults must accompany and supervise children visitors at all times.
Do I bring my own cat?
Negative, please do not bring your cat. Leave your cat at home, we have more cats than you need.
Are the cats spray/neutered and vaccinated?
Yes, all cats have been neutered or spayed and vaccinated at the shelter.
Are all cats adoptable?
We foster cats from the Regional Animal Services of King County. These adoptable cats stay with us until they get adopted. There are also 9 resident cats that call Seattle Meowtropolitan their permanent home and they cannot go home with anyone.
How do I adopt a cat?
If you do meet a cat that's the right one for you, please ask the staff or volunteers about the adoption process.
When are the cats most active?
Cats are very active during the visits now.
Since we are only offering limited hours of visits and limited sessions each hour, we have more cats than people in the room. Most of them want to play!
How many cats will be in the Cat Cafe?
We usually have anywhere from 16-22 cats staying at the Cat Cafe

Please Note
PARENTS/GUARDIANS: There must be one adult to accompany every two kids into the cat lounge. For example: three adults must accompany six kids into the cat lounge. If you show up with too few adults, you will be denied entry.
Cancellations & Refunds
Reservation Changes, Cancellations & Refunds
Changes to reservations for tickets can be made until 2 days prior to the date scheduled. Reservations may be re-scheduled by the operator of the activity due to reasons such as weather, minimum participation requirements, mechanical issues or other interruptions beyond their control.
All gift certificate sales are final and not refundable. Gift certificates can only be exchanged prior to redemption.
