The fresh air and surroundings of this temperate rainforest is a thrilling experience for a first time visitors and long time hikers. We take a rest stop at the Quinault Resort Lodge, which is where President Franklin D. Roosevelt stayed when he established Olympic National Park. The lodge has a perfect view of Lake Quinault.
