Worst Tour Ever!

I feel badly writing this review as our guide is clearly on the spectrum and was doing his best. But he should simply not have been employed. He could not communicate with the group, struggled to make any eye contact, had to stop speaking whenever a plane flew overhead, was unable to interact with the group, much less to make it remotely engaging. It was the most boring and badly guided tour I've ever done, anywhere. He had knowledge but his ability to convey it in a remotely engaging way was lacking. It is an indictment on this company for employing someone who was so ill equipped to be a tour guide. I wished I had booked through Alex Colonial Tours instead, whose guides all dress in Colonial attire and who had their groups laughing loudly!

A fun evening out!

A very enjoyable tour, with a good mix of history and spookiness. Our guide gave us all the time we wanted to explore each site. Only disappointment was lack of plushies which we had ordered in advance.

Great Opportunity Missed

We have been coming to Alexandria for decades. Have always watched the ghost tours walk around at night. Took the opportunity to book and attend one of the tours. Perhaps the anticipation was too great. Our guide was lackluster and not entertaining. The stories felt forced with little feeling or believability. Our after photos contained orbs and other items we did not recall during the tour, but over all, a poor guide experience, but a nice walk around the city. I believe Jessica had an off night.

Super Fun Even for Locals

I am local and invited a friend from Maryland specifically to do a ghost tour in town. I love these and have done a few -- this one was by far the best and did not disappoint. The tour was spooky, fun, and informative. I went a a few places I had never been! And our guide was super read-up on the history of the area and up for questions. The Christmas lights were a bonus!
