Watts was one of the most prolific serial killers in US history. He murdered possibly 80 White women in potentially 4 states and Canada. He said that he could see the evil in women's eyes.

26-yaer old school teacher Naomi Dominguez rented this home behind the railroad tracks. On June 4, 1999 Mexican serial killer Angel Maturino Resendiz, also known as the Railroad Killer bludgeoned her to death. Resendiz killed for years as he lived a hobo's life hopping on and off trains, not staying in one place, and killing indiscriminately using any method that was convenient. He killed at least 23 people in 6 states.

His Heaven's Gate cult group believed that an extraterrestrial ship trailing behind the Comet Hale-Bopp would take them away.

At this site in the mid-1960s, Earline Clark raised her grandson Vernon Wayne Howell (1959 - 1993). Earline's daughter Bonnie Sue Clark became a mother at the age of 14. Vernon's father was 20 years older than Bonnie Sue and abandoned his girlfriend for another teenager. He never saw his baby. Vernon began to claim he could prophesize. He moved to California. In 1990, in Panoma, California, Vernon claimed he was a direct descendant of the Biblical King David. Thus, he changed his name to David Koresh and led the Branch Davidians to their ultimate stand-off and deaths in Waco, Texas on April 19, 1993.

On June 23, 1965, two police officers conducted a wellness check for 81 year old Fred Rogers and his 72-year old wife Edwina Rogers. Edwina's nephew had requested the checkup as Fred and Edwina had not been seen or were answering their telephone for days. Police could not find the couple, but they did not see anything our of order, until they opened up the refrigerator. They thought they saw saw fresh slabs from a hog chopped up until they looked closer. Then they realized that they wee looking at the heads of Fred and Edwina and other body parts. All of their blood had been drained in the toilet to the sewer and their organs removed. Fred's eyes had been gouged out. This appeared to be a professional killing. Their 33-year old, hermit son, associated with the CIA, was missing and never seen or heard of again.

61 year old twice married and divorced Mary Cerruti had lived in the quiet, unassuming neighborhood of mostly Depression-era bungalows and senior citizens. She had lived here since 2001, for 14 years. It was peaceful here. Then developers moved in and began pressuring peopled to sell their homes so the developers could build multi-story condominiums and apartments. The community was changing from a tranquil area of lots of empty nesters to upscale loud, overcrowded neighborhood of yuppies and dinkies. She spoke out against the instrusion at a community meeting. Shortly thereafter, she was never seen again. Her house fell into disrepair with an overgrown lawn, and the mortage not paid. Police were called to look in on her and found a house full of stench and dead cats, but no Mary. The house was put up for auction and sold. The new owner leased it to a young Couple. The couple went into the attic, looked down an hole, and found her bones.

Dean Corll lived in the house in the rear from September 1971 to February 1972. David Brooks aided Corll in killing 2 boys at this location. Corll moved a lot to keep from having anyone see or hear anything that would bring suspicion upon him. Corll lived in 9 places within 3 places. He averaged about 4 months at each site. Corll along with his teenage high school dropout accomplices, Elmer Wayne Henley, and David Brooks enticed often delinquent middle and high school boys to come to Corll's homes to drink alcohol and smoke marijuana in a safe environment. Corll had torture boards to tie down his victims as he raped and later beat and killed them.

This is the site where the Corll Candy Store was located. Dean Corll (1939 - 1973) was a homosexual who left the military prematurely to work for his mother's candy company. He liked little boys and encouraged them to come over. He installed a pool table in the rear of the candy store so they would come more frequently and stay longer. He gave them free candy and earned the nickname of the "Candy Man." Corll had 2 hench boys, David Brooks and Elmer Wayne Henley, who he would pay $100 to $200 a head for new victims to come to his various homes over the years. Brooks and Henley often aided Corll in killing their friends. Corll operated primarily in the Houston Heights neighborhood until 1973 when he moved to Pasadena and continued his killing. Corll was responsible for at least 28 murders between 1970 and 1973. However, he had earned the nickname in 1965 and he possibly murdered over 100 people counting the time from 1965 to 1970.
