Conspiracies abound - this tour was worthy of my pounds!

This tour was recommended by the friend I am visiting in Dallas. I don’t really know that much about JFK’s assassination other than it being a defining point in US history and the source of many conspiracy theories. Tour started at the stark JFK memorial and Tim the tour guide was there early and easy to find. It was really interesting to follow the parade route and Lee Harvey Oswald’s movements up to arrest. It was a super hot day and although the van was air conditioned I’ve deducted a star as no cold water was on board and Tim said they usually had. You do hop out at Dealey Plaza and the grassy knoll. Tim was a good tour guide and I think like lots of tours you could do the same tour a different day and get the tour guide’s differing perspective. He told us his thoughts but very much focused on timelines and facts leaving it up to you to draw your own conclusions. Really interesting way to spend a few hours and it finishes up at the Dealey Plaza museum which is worth a visit. It was part of my tour price. And yes, I do think LHO was a patsy now. But don’t think we will ever know the real truth.
