With epic battles fought in and around Charleston, historic landmarks abound. Locations you will see from the water include Fort Sumter, Castle Pinckney, The USS Yorktown, Fort Moultrie, the Morris Island and Sullivan’s Island lighthouses, the Arthur Ravenel Bridge, and more.
You will be amazed at how easily you are able to view the stately homes along Charleston’s famous Battery, where in 1861, General Beauregard observed the first shot fired in the Civil War. As you glide across the water, enjoying Charleston’s beautiful skyline, you’ll be amazed by tales of pirates, shipwrecks, and plantation days gone by.
