Kayaking fun
David our guide was very interesting and knowledgable and made sure we were comfortable and safe throughout the trip. He took us to the most beautiful lake and we had a lovely relaxed time exploring. He even baked cookies for us to enjoy as a snack. This activity was one of the highlights of our trip.

If you are ever in the Lake Lure or Asheville area, we highly recommend taking time for a guided kayak tour with David! I finally gathered the nerve to kayak after wanting to do so for a long time. As a first time kayaker, David quickly put me at ease with his incredible kindness and knowledge. He provided helpful tips prior to our tour to ensure our safety and a great time. He also reached out to us prior to meeting to ensure we knew where to meet as well as was available for any questions and help us feel welcome, more at ease. David is an excellent guide! He is incredibly knowledgeable of the history of the area and the wildlife. We also appreciated that he is very easy to talk to (even if you have never met him before, he quickly feels like an old friend of many years) and there was a small group of us, making the experience more personable. David goes the extra mile to ensure a great experience; he even brought everyone cold waters and snacks (as well as the most amazing cookies he baked himself). Our kayaking tour with David far exceeded any expectations! We look forward to booking with him again. Thank you so much, David! 😊
