What is a graffiti walking tour from Graff Tours?
Graff Tours is the first tour company dedicated to graffiti and street art in North America. We believe the best way to see a city is through the lens of public art. A Graff tour is an exciting mixture of both the history of graffiti and what is happening today on the streets. The tours are fun, educational, current, and change every time they are given. Our tours show all types and kinds of public art including classic graffiti, wheatpaste, stencil art, yarn bombing, tape art, and much more. Our tours adapt to the art as it is being created and changed creating an ever changing tour of the art of the streets.
Do i need to have a reservation to go on a graff tour?
Yes. Our public graffiti walking tours do require reservations.
Graffiti is very visible, why should i take a graff tour?
Only by taking a tour will you be able to know the history and story behind the art and artists.
How long is a graff tour and how much do we walk?
Most tours last approximately an hour and a half. We walk between one and two miles during this time, and cover multiple neighborhoods. We maintain a moderate walking pace, stopping at various sites along the tour.
What if it is raining?
Graffiti tours are held rain or shine. Graff Tours reserves the right to cancel graffiti tours in the event of potentially dangerous weather.
How much of a tip should i leave at the end of a graffiti tour?
Gratuities are always appreciated, but never expected. Typical households leave $5 per person.
Meeting Location: The Tour starts at 282 Meserole st. in Brooklyn NY 11206. The closest Subway stop is the Montrose L Train stop. The Tour ends where it begins.
Tour Duration: The tour of Bushwick is around an hour and a half.
All participants must arrive 10 minutes before the tour start time for check in. No customer showing up after the start time will be allowed to participate in the experience and will be charged a fee to reschedule.
Tips Are Always Appreciated.
Changes to reservations for tickets can be made until 3 days prior to the date scheduled. Reservations may be re-scheduled by the operator of the activity due to reasons such as weather, minimum participation requirements, mechanical issues or other interruptions beyond their control.
