Experience Overview:
Downtown Manhattan Art And History ConnectionsYou'll learn about the history of NYC and how its subways and their art are part of everyday New York City life. I worked in 2 World Trade Center and have a unique understanding of how the buildings were constructed and what it was like to work there. Many of the pieces of art that you'll see are museum worthy and fun to look at, but most people just walk by them and don't notice them at all. We'll go through the newly created Fulton Mall transportation center and you'll see how New Yorkers navigate the complex network of subways that made lower Manhattan the financial capital of the world!
