You’ll have control of the 330 horsepower Extra 330LC (yes, it’s really you flying the plane!) and embark on an actual aerial dogfight, using a sophisticated optical targeting system, which makes smoke come out of your opponent’s aircraft when you achieve a direct hit! No previous flight experience is needed as your experienced instructors will teach you everything you need to know, including the basics of fighter manoeuvres. Soaring high in the air over the Nevada Desert in hot pursuit of another fighter plane is the ultimate adrenaline rush. There’s no better way to feed your need for speed!

This is the ultimate competitive challenge! Bring a friend or fly against one of our instructors. Once you hit the merge, it’s Fight’s On in our amazing 330 horsepower Extra 330LC’s, which will give you every thrill of an actual aerial dogfight, including the satisfaction of scoring a direct hit with our optical targeting system and watching smoke come out of your opponent’s aircraft.
Ideal for groups of 2 or more, including couples, bachelor/bachelorette parties and corporate events, the Sky Combat Experience is sure to fan your competitive spark. No worries if you are traveling by yourself, with a little bit of notice, we are happy to pair you up with an opponent!
Don’t worry, you don’t need any flight experience, just a need for speed! Under the supervision of one of our expert combat fighter pilots, we teach you the art of basic fighter maneuvers, which will enable you to outmaneuver your opponent and get the kill. Please note that single bookings may apply a $500 surcharge to send up an opponent in a second airplane.
All participants must sign a waiver and liability release prior to flying.
For safety, participants must be in good health and free from high blood pressure, heart, back or neck problems, motion sickness, or other conditions that could be aggravated by this experience. Expectant mothers should not ride. Should participants have any questions regarding fitness/suitability for this experience, they should consult a doctor.
The aircraft is equipped with dual flight controls, so your highly trained instructor pilot can easily take the controls in the unlikely event that it becomes necessary. All flights are instructional flights defined under 14 CFR Part 61 of the United States Code and participants will receive ground and airborne instruction throughout their flight.
Changes to reservations for tickets can be made until 8 days prior to the date scheduled. Reservations may be re-scheduled by the operator of the activity due to reasons such as weather, minimum participation requirements, mechanical issues or other interruptions beyond their control.
