You'll also visit Horseshoe Bend, where you can hike out to the sheer rock face and stop at a scenic overlook for views of Lake Powell. It’s simply breathtaking. Though small, with about 1,300 residents, it remains a close-knit, rural town with deep historical roots in the development of the American West.

Kanab, Utah, is a charming small town known as "Little Hollywood" because many classic Western movies were filmed there. It's located near some of the most beautiful natural spots in the Southwest, like Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Founded by Mormon settlers in 1870, Kanab is now a popular base for outdoor adventures and also home to the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, a huge no-kill animal shelter.

With tall winding walls, it’s a monumental sandstone sculpture.
