Start in the North End at the Paul Revere Mall and view the steeple of the Old North Church where the lanterns where hung that fateful night in April 1775. Explore the Old North Church and learn about the members that took part in the rebellion.
Head to Charlestown to see where Paul Revere picked up his horse that evening, then head to Lexington to see where the Minutemen and British first encountered. Stop by Buckman Tavern, where the militia waited for the British troops to arrive.
Continue to see where Paul Revere was captured that evening, then to the Old North Bridge, where the first order to fire arms was given. Stop by a few locations of significance in Concord, then head back to Cambridge to see where George Washington first took official command of the Army. End the tour in Charlestown, where the British retreated to that first day, and see Bunker Hill, location of the first full battle of the war.
