Want to experience Boston in a different way, learning about the city while racking up points? We'll form teams of 2-5, and you'll use a mobile app to complete challenges around a walkable area in Downtown Boston over the course of an hour. Our gamemaster host will be there to explain the rules and start the clock. At the end of an hour, we'll all reconvene to celebrate the winners, and our gamemaster will answer questions about any missions you couldn't complete. Scavenger hunts can include both kids and adults. They don’t require any special knowledge or expertise to do well at. You'll solve puzzles, snap photos, and use their phones to “check in” at a specific location. If you like escape rooms, you'll love our scavenger hunt. And if escape rooms make you claustrophobic, you'll enjoy this more!

Meet us at the Boston Common Visitors Center. Your first challenge: when facing the booth, with a Dunkin' behind you, look to your right and find three statues that say Religion, Industry, and Learning on them. Your gamemaster will be waiting for you there with an Innovation Trail hat or sign.

What to expect:

Boston Common Visitors Center

Join us for a live, competitive scavenger hunt in downtown Boston. You'll use a free mobile app to find locations related to inventors, entrepreneurs, pioneering women, architects, and sports. You'll snap photos, solve puzzles based on what you see, or check in to specific locations to earn points. (You won't have to do anything weird or illegal!) You'll see how well you're doing compared to other teams on the leaderboard.
Any one of any age can help a team score points. (Involves some walking on flat sidewalks, but it's not "The Amazing Race"!) When the time's up, you'll see who won, and return to the starting point to take team photos and get answers about any clues that confounded you.

You can come solo, and we'll connect you with others, or bring a team of 2-5 people. (Larger groups are welcome, you'll just need to register as separate teams because it's not as fun with more than 5 people.)
