Fun little tour
I bought this tour last Christmas for my husband. I checked in July to make sure it didn’t have an expiration and found that it was good for a year only. I had major surgery so the soonest we could go was September. Turned out to be a great time to visit Portland, less crowds and great weather. Our tour guide Kim was fantastic, describing not just the foodie scene but all the local history as well! She also gave recommendations to restaurants and landmarks. We had 4 samples in the tour. A fish taco, a cup of chowder, a lobster roll and a piece of handmade chocolate. This is why i didn’t give 5 stars. The prices $140 per person. We ate dinner at one of the best high end restaurants in town this weekend and it didn’t come close to that with drinks and dessert. That was a lot to pay for this tour. I give Kim 5 stars but I wouldn't pay that kind of money again for what I thought was a foodie tour with many stops.
