Created by Weird Chicago in 2006 (and often imitated), this is the original tour that delves into the history, mystery, murder and mayhem of the American serial killer, H.H. Holmes and the World’s Columbian Exposition in Chicago in 1893. During the World’s Fair, Holmes operated the infamous “Murder Castle” and this was the first tour to take you on a journey back in time to not only the places where Holmes sought out and dispatched his victims, but also to take a look at the remnants of the spectacular fair and to get an inside look at Chicago in 1893 and what the world saw when it came to the Windy City! All Bus tours are approximately 3-hours in length and there will be outside stops, so dress for the weather.

We will normally have stops where restrooms are available. We usually have locations where drinks can be purchased, but drinks cannot be removed from the location.

We do not allow coolers or alcohol on the bus during public tours. Infants and strollers are not allowed on the bus tours.

Guests who cause a disturbance that interferes with the tour will be removed and their ticket price will not be refunded -- no exceptions.

All ticket sales are final and not refundable. Reservations cannot be changed, rescheduled or refunded once confirmed. Reservations may be re-scheduled by the operator of the activity due to reasons such as weather, minimum participation requirements, mechanical issues or other interruptions beyond their control.

All gift certificate sales are final and not refundable. Gift certificates can only be exchanged prior to redemption.
