Your trip starts when you meet the team and load your kayak onto your car for the very short trip to the water (foam pads and straps will be provided to help you secure the kayaks to your vehicle). There you’ll launch your craft into the river for a tranquil paddle through the beautiful Kahana Valley and onto the ocean. Along the way you’ll enjoy outstanding vistas over mountains, jungle, azure water, and a secluded beach. The waters here are very calm so this trip is suitable for beginners and more experienced kayakers, and all life jackets and other equipment is provided. If you’re feeling really adventurous you can even make a splash at one of the rope swings along your route.

Please park in one of our bays and our friendly staff will be there to guide you through strapping the kayak on your vehicle and provide you with all the necessary equipment.
It's a 40-minute drive around the corner to your destination.
The valley you will kayak in is a rain forest and has all sorts of hiking trails and rope swings. It's one of our favorite locations on the island. The whole area is surrounded by epic mountains. It's a cool place.
The best place to park is in the State Park parking lot: Ahupuaʻa ʻO Kahana State Park
From there, you carry the kayak to the grassy area and launch the kayaks straight into the river. Please handle the kayaks with care, do not drag the kayaks on the asphault and please do not sit or stand on the kayaks while on land.

You will be provided with:
- Life Jackets.
- Seatbacks.
- Paddles.
- Safety equipment are provided.
- We also include a free 15L drybag rentals that you can use during your paddling excursion.
You will need a car to take part in this experience as it's a short drive to your kayak launch destination, you will be provided with pads and straps to transport the kayak to the launch location. Changes to reservations for tickets can be made until 3 days prior to the date scheduled. Reservations may be re-scheduled by the operator of the activity due to reasons such as weather, minimum participation requirements, mechanical issues or other interruptions beyond their control.
