Kailua-Kona Open Air VW Buggy Rentals

At Big Island Buggy you choose the destination! You tour the island in your very own open aired VW Manx style buggy. We offer 2 or 4 seat buggies. See historical sites, drive to beautiful beaches, tour the coffee farms, YOU decide where and how long you would like to stay. We rent our buggies for 4 hours or 8 hours. Call for multiple day rentals. Our buggies come with a soft top that you can remove with ease and give yourself an AMAZING VIEW! The buggies can be driven anywhere a rental car can go on the island. They go highway speeds. The only restriction is no off road (except dirt parking lots) and they are not 4 wheel drive. Please call us prior to booking for questions.

15min.walk.Walk toward the main street Ali'i/Palani and go left, past the King Kamehameha Marriott. Cross the street at light and go left on Kuikini. Walk towards the Kona Brewing stainless steel kettle. Go up stairs and past Puna Chocolate Co. At street go left. We are at Kona Town Storage on left.

Grab your crew and head out in your very own convertible, street legal super styling fun buggy! Our buggies travel along at highway speeds so you and your crew get to sightseeing more beaches, towns and our beautiful island! 
We offer a two seat and and (3) four seat VW buggies. For your convenience, beach chairs, beach towels, umbrella and soft cooler provided by request at no additional charge. We have also equipped them with a USB port to charge your phones. YELLOW TANG: (2 seat buggy) STICKSHIFT, Standard Transmission. Extra storage behind seats for beach gear and luggage.

BLUE MAKO: (4 seat buggy) STICKSHIFT, Standard Transmission. Bench seat in back (Smaller adults).

RED TIKI: (4 seat buggy) STICKSHIFT, Standard Transmission. Full size seats with open storage area behind rear seats.

GREEN HONU: (4 seat buggy AUTOMATIC) Fully Automatic Transmission. Same as TIKI except automatic.
