This package allows uncertified divers to tag along with their certified friends or family instead of waiting on the beach. The Combo Dive is a mix of a guided shore dive for certified guests and a discover scuba experience for those just dipping their toes into the scuba world.

Designed for certified divers eager to share their scuba adventures with uncertified friends and family. We'll guide the newbies through the process and explore the beautiful dive sites on the Kona coast while the certified divers can enjoy the dive experience at their leisure.

The meeting location is at the Kona Shore Divers shop located in Kopiko Plaza. The Plaza is marked with 2 large dive flags.

What to expect:

Island of Hawai'i

Upon arrival, you will gear up with your guide and then make your way to the ocean's water line by walking. You will get to your dive site via a shore entry. Uncertified divers will be under the guidance of one of our experienced dive instructors while certified divers will be free to explore and experience the dive site at their leisure. You will get to see many species of reef fish and corals. You could even see octopuses, turtles, eels, or the occasional reef shark or dolphin!
