Everglades National Park Guided Kayak TourThere is only one Everglades National Park. It is in Naples and Marco Island backdoor and a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most unique ecosystems on the Planet. It has been said, "The Everglades are a test. If we pass, we can keep the planet".
Led by Florida Master Naturalists, these kayak eco-tours depart daily to the beautiful 10,000 Islands of Everglades National Park, in the habitat of manatees, dolphins, sea turtles and vast numbers of wading and shorebirds. We launch from Chokoloskee Island, the closest access to the Everglades National Park.
The tour routes that we choose vary daily and seasonally. You may paddle to a rookery where hundreds of wading birds nest in a colony; find yourself surrounded by feeding manatees or dolphins; walk on a Calusa Indian shell mound, thousands of years old; or paddle with the tidal currents up a river to view endangered roseate spoonbills or small toothed sawfish.
We can tailor the tour to your needs ... specific departure times, sunrise photography, sunsets, birding, etc. Our favorite times to be on the water are very early mornings and late afternoons...wildlife is commonly more active and the lighting best for photography.

You will need:
- Shoes that you do mind getting wet when getting into the kayaks
- Weather appropriate clothing
- Drinking water
- If it is warm, insect repellent is a good idea.
Per the National Park Service, as of February 1st 2019, all Everglades National Park guests will need to be in possession of a park pass. Your Senior or other annual passes may suffice.
Please call the Park at 305-242-7700 or visit their website to purchase a pass.
Fortunately, we are in an area where weather rarely forces us to cancel a tour. We have many choices and options in this wonderful area. However, your captain/guide has the ultimate responsibility for your safety and so will make all "GO and NO-GO" decisions. There are times when we may delay a departure due to passing weather. We want you to enjoy our tours and have a great time. We do realize that situations occur that can alter travel schedules and plans. We limit the number of guests on each tour to assure an intimate experience. Your reservation assures that you will have a position on the tour and that we will not book other guests.
Cancellations & Refunds
Reservation Changes, Cancellations & Refunds
Changes to reservations for tickets can be made until 3 days prior to the date scheduled. Reservations may be re-scheduled by the operator of the activity due to reasons such as weather, minimum participation requirements, mechanical issues or other interruptions beyond their control.
All gift certificate sales are final and not refundable. Gift certificates can only be exchanged prior to redemption.
