Why We Love This Unique Experience

Embark on a one-of-a-kind adventure with a Manatees, Sunset & Bioluminescence Tour. This three-hour experience combines three distinct activities to provide you with an unforgettable wildlife encounter.

First, immerse yourself in the beauty of Florida's most-loved endangered species, the West Indian Manatees. As you launch your kayak, these gentle giants will surround you, rolling, sniffing, and nuzzling in their natural habitat. You'll feel a deep connection with these magnificent creatures as you witness their playful behavior up close. Keep an eye out for dolphins too, as they hunt for their dinner in the adjacent cove. Next, paddle towards Bird Island, a federally protected rookery where hundreds of birds fill the sky. Witness the graceful flight of ibis, herons, egrets, pelicans, cormorants, and roseate spoonbills as they return to their nests for the night. The calming motion of your kayak will serenade you as the sun sets in a mesmerizing display of pinks, oranges, and reds. Finally, the highlight of the tour awaits you - the bioluminescent experience. Whether it's the summer bioluminescence, winter comb jelly bioluminescence, or the dazzling moonlit sky, you'll be enchanted by the natural light show that illuminates the water. Each moment is a magical sight to behold as the microorganisms light up the night, creating a surreal and captivating ambiance.

With a professional guide leading the way, you'll feel safe and well-informed throughout the entire tour. They will share their extensive knowledge about the wildlife, ecosystems, and conservation efforts, enhancing your understanding and appreciation for these unique experiences. This tour is the perfect gift for nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers alike. It's an opportunity to connect with nature, witness remarkable wildlife, and create lasting memories. So grab your paddle, prepare to be amazed, and take on this extraordinary journey!
