Supreme Court And Us Capitol Small Group TourYour journey begins at the Neptune Fountain, right outside the Library of Congress Thomas Jefferson Building. Meet your guide and begin your adventure. We walk to the Supreme Court where you'll learn about the prison that once stood on the site and the symbolism-filled architecture of the Supreme Court building.
Then we head inside the Supreme Court where your guide will discuss the complex history of the institution, notable justices, landmark cases, and the secrets of the building.
Tuesday through Friday we enter the Library of Congress, the world's largest library. Your guide's reserved passes will bring you into the heart of knowledge. You will see Thomas Jefferson's library, the basis for the Library's collection, and see the grandeur of the Main Reading Room.
Follow your guide to the US Capitol and hear the hidden history of the building, Congress, and the artwork within. Your tour concludes with reserved passes for a federal guide-led tour, exploring the historic spaces.

Closest Metro stop: Capitol South (Orange/Blue/Silver Lines) - Exit station using main exit, walk approximately two blocks north on First Street SE.
Please plan to arrive 15-20 minutes before tour start time. Tour begins exactly at stated time, entry to buildings are on timed reservations, and group must enter security together, therefore we are unable to accommodate for late arrivals.
Tour runs approximately 2 hours on Mondays and 3 hours Tuesday through Thursday
The US Capitol and its surrounding complex are in a secure federal operation area and nearby parking is highly restricted. The nearest public parking is located at Union Station approximately .5 mile from meeting location. Alternative modes of transportation are highly encouraged.
