Golden Rocky Mountains Sunset Hiking Experience

Do you want to go for a hike but don't know which trail to pick, and don't want to get lost in the forest? We make things easy for you by taking you to a beautiful trail that wouldn't be easy to find on your own, and we'll make sure you have a stress-free time, enjoying the natural beauty of the Rocky Mountains.
We'll hike for 1.5-2 hours in the Rocky Mountains while the sun sets. We'll see pretty views, probably see some wildlife, take a few snack and water breaks, learn about the wildflowers and trees, make new friends, get some exercise and breathe in the fresh mountain air! In the winter months, we'll provide "Yak Traks" that you put on your shoes to improve the traction on ice and snow.

The hike will be easy to easy for people in good physical shape, but it can be very challenging for people who do not exercise regularly and are not used to altitude. The elevation will be somewhere between 6,000 and 8,000 ft. Min group size is 2 hikers.

We meet at Launch Espresso Food Spirits and carpool from there to the trailhead. We encourage hikers to provide their own transportation, but we are able to drive you if you don't have a vehicle. We recommend arriving 30 mins early to try the delicious coffee and food available at Launch!

Origin Hotel Red Rocks

A 2nd meeting point is available for those staying West of the city. Origin Hotel Red Rocks has a full restaurant and bar and offers a 10% discount to our hikers!

What's included:

• We have spikes available in the winter for people who need additional traction on their shoes.

• If you ask ahead of time, we can bring an extra layer, hat or gloves for you!

Not included:

• Bottled water - we encourage hikers to bring a reusable water bottle to protect the environment

We'll drive through the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and go deeper into the Rocky Mountains for the sunset hike. Please note this is the Rocky Mountains but not Rocky Mountain National Park (which is in Estes Park).
