Your kayak experience begins when you arrive at the hire centre to be greeted by your friendly guide. They will set you up with a wetsuit, booties, life jacket and helmet before bringing you to the sea front. After a quick safety briefing, you'll be ready to get out on the water. Feel the warmth of the sun on your face and breathe in that salty sea air as you begin to paddle down the coast. Your guide will lead the tour along the beautiful coastline, allowing you to take in views unlike any that you'd be able to experience on land. Gaze on at the picturesque coastal vistas, grottoes, arches and kelp forests before paddling along to the Dinosaur Caves. Here, you can float around and explore the natural phenomenon up close as you take in the cave's astounding beauty, before slowly paddling back to shore.

Kayak Tour Of Dinosaur Caves In Pismo BeachThis is our most exciting and rewarding tour! The Cave Excursion is enjoyed by novice and seasoned kayakers alike. There are a series of arches, caves, and rock gardens that are only accessible from the water and your kayak is the best vehicle for exploring. This tour is exhilarating and at times strenuous. Your guide will instruct and assist you with a surf zone launch. Once passed the breakers you will venture along spectacular coastal vistas, grottoes, arches, kelp forests, and protected coves to the Dinosaur Caves, our marine playground. This tour can be taken by the novice or experienced paddler.
These caves are both intriguing and challenging, so you choose how much adventure you can handle. Our guides teach you the basic strokes and show you some of the best caves in our area. Central Coast Kayaks has offered this tour longer than any other. Be careful you might get hooked!

Additional Experience Details & Important Information
Please feel free to wear your bathing suit upon arrival, a wetsuit package is provided as a part of your tour. We recommend bringing a set of dry clothes or a towel to get into after your tour.
Please arrive 15 minutes before your tour to get into your paddling gear.
Help prevent plastic from going into the ocean and bring a reusable water bottle for your tour, you will be able to secure it to tour kayak.
Please be sure to fill out the waiver 24 hours in advance.

Reservation Changes, Cancellations & Refunds
Changes to reservations for tickets can be made until 8 days prior to the date scheduled. Reservations may be re-scheduled by the operator of the activity due to reasons such as weather, minimum participation requirements, mechanical issues or other interruptions beyond their control.
All gift certificate sales are final and not refundable. Gift certificates can only be exchanged prior to redemption.
