Experience Overview:
La Jolla 5k Running Tour Of San DiegoWe run a 3.5-mile course meandering along the coastline and the historic area of La Jolla right along the Whale View Point, Children's Pool, La Jolla Cove, and the Cliff Walk. We may stop a few times during the run for great photo ops and to learn about La Jolla's history and culture. The tour ends with 5 mins of "Yoga for Runners" stretching, and enjoy a complimentary hydration beverage.

WHAT PACE DO WE RUN?
Our pace is determined by the participants of the tour. These are fun, casual tours, meant to include all running abilities. Typically, the pace is between 9 - 11 minutes per mile, with a few stops for photo opportunities and learning about the surroundings.

Please arrive 10 minutes early.
Gratuity is not included.
You will need to sign a waiver before you take part in this tour.
What to Bring:

- Sun protection
- Extra water if you need it
You will be provided with water and a t-shirt.
Participants may leave their bags/personal items at the front desk of La Jolla Cove Hotel during the tour.

Changes to reservations for tickets can be made until 2 days prior to the date scheduled. Reservations may be re-scheduled by the operator of the activity due to reasons such as weather, minimum participation requirements, mechanical issues or other interruptions beyond their control.
All gift certificate sales are final and not refundable. Gift certificates can only be exchanged prior to redemption.

Who We Are
Iconic San Diego Running Tours was founded by Theresa and Slava Kolpakov to celebrate our love of San Diego, its vibrant culture, and its active lifestyle. We have been exploring San Diego on foot since 2002.
We both lead our tours, as well as employ other fun and knowledgeable guides to assist us.
Slava is an avid runner and RRCA-certified running coach specializing in natural form running, injury-prevention, and joint stability training. Hence, all of our tours have an element of natural running form coaching (because I cannot help myself to help other people run better).
When she's not in her running shoes, Theresa is a highly-regarded positive-reinforcement dog trainer with clients all across the country and is on the board of a dog rescue non-profit. She holds a Masters of Education degree from Leslie University.
