California Yosemite Summit Hike and Swim

Hike to Mount Hoffman, Yosemite's best viewpoint, and swim in May Lake! This private, guided hike is just challenging enough to feel fun and rewarding without being too long. It's perfect for families who like hiking.
You will:
• Hike in the Yosemite high country, far from the crowds of the valley.
• Summit Mt. Hoffman, right in the center of the park. All of Yosemite will unfold beneath you like a life-sized map!
• Swim in May Lake.

Follow your guide into Yosemite's backcountry, a place most tourists never visit. To reach the summit, you'll complete a fun scramble to the top. Your guide will make lunch and show you spectacular views of the park. On the way back, jump into May Lake and swim!

You'll leave with happy memories of an unforgettable adventure and epic photos to show off.

We usually meet at 9am at the May Lake Trailhead. As this is a private trip, we have some flexibility if you make a request to alter the agenda 24 hours in advance.

Mt. Hoffmann

Mount Hoffman is our favorite viewpoint in the park. It's right in the middle of Yosemite and very tall. From up here, you'll see all the nooks and crannies of the park. Your guide will point out Half Dome, Clouds Rest, and many other famous peaks.
As you take in the views at the summit, your guide will make you a picnic lunch!
