Had a wonderful time,Carson the tour guide was awesome had lots of knowledge about the city’s history, got to see bears, eagles, waterfalls, and awesome scenery, Would highly recommend it!! Also very fairly priced.

Nice view of Ketchikan
I was in 5th row of 14 passenger van and could not hear driver, but he gave us a good tour of the surrounding area.

Fun and Informative day in Ketchikan
We booked this tour for our day in Ketchikan while on an Alaskan cruise. We were met timely at the designated gathering spot and headed out with Carson to learn about Ketchikan, the surrounding area and the people of Ketchikan. Carson is a wealth of information and filled us in on the salmon of the area, other fishing nearby, the Saxman Totems and many other interesting facts along the way. We were even fortunate enough to catch a momma bear and 3 cubs near the side of the road for which Carson pulled over and let us get a closer look at them. She was a good momma because as soon as she spotted us she scurried them right up a path into the nearby hills. We learned a good deal of the history of the area and the stores and traditions surrounding the Totems. Carson kept the conversation lively and interesting the whole time, he made the tour very good. The only reason I rated this 4 instead of 5 stars is because we were in Ketchikan in May and the salmon were not running and not many bear were out. I’m sure had we taken the tour in June-Aug. it would have been 5 stars due to seeing more wildlife. Thanks Carson for teaching us so much about Ketchikan, we had a great visit.
