Whether you’re here for your first aurora adventure or simply looking for a peaceful retreat, Cleary Summit Aurora Camp provides a welcoming and calm setting under the Arctic sky.
We offer large, stylish tents with heaters for a comfortable stay. Enjoy a small group camp-style aurora tour away from the crowds.

You will depart from your Fairbanks hotel in a comfortable vehicle, heading to our unique camp located at the top of Cleary Summit, one of the world’s premier aurora viewing spots. While relaxing at the camp, enjoying hot chocolate and snacks, our guide will monitor the weather and aurora activity. When the aurora appears, our professional photographer will take a picture of you with it as the backdrop. We will also assist you in adjusting your device settings to capture stunning aurora photos. At the end of the activity, you will be taken back to your hotel.
