Honeybourne Pottery Wheel Experience and Workshop

On this fun & relaxing 90 minute experience, you will learn what it is like to have a go at throwing. Create as many pots as you wish of all shapes & sizes with unlimited clay to use on the session & your own dedicated potters wheel each.
Suitable for beginners (ages 7+). Individuals, couples & groups welcome.

Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your workshop is due to start. Free on-street parking is available on the High Street and surrounding roads. You may wish to leave additional time to park if visiting us at peak hours as we don't have our own car park.

What's included:

• Your best pot to take home (pots will be boxed up for you).
• Your own potter’s wheel, tools & apron for the duration of the class.
• Unlimited supply of clay to make as many pots as you wish.

What to expect:

Honeybourne Pottery

On arrival at our beautiful Cotswold studio, you’ll be warmly welcomed as you join the rest of the group. The experience begins with a demonstration on the potter's wheel. You will learn the 5 basic steps in making a pot, from centering, opening out and pulling up the walls of your pots, using specialist tools. 
Then its your turn to get hands-on and have fun shaping clay at your own wheel. Use as much clay as you like, creating anything from plates, bowls, vases, cups and more! An experienced tutor will be on hand throughout offering practical tips and guidance as needed. 

At the end of the class, you can chose your favorite pot to take home (we'll pack it for you). You can also keep more pots for a small fee of £3 each. Let them dry naturally at home and paint them if you wish!
