Bradford Stand Up Paddle Board Adventure

The main thing you need to progress in Stand Up Paddling is a great location and great instruction. Sam, your instructor, has been teaching water sports for the last 20 years and is a highly qualified and experienced coach.
Our location is perfect, in that the water stays flat in a huge range of conditions and offers fantastic views of the river Wharfe.

While the beautiful historical market town of Otley is great for a pre/post session coffee (or beer) or just to wonder around and lose yourself in all the boutique shops, designed cafes and cultural experiences on offer.

We meet in the cafe, I'll be sat at a table, normally with a big cup of tea in front of me, if you're not sure just ask one of the staff and they'll point me out! Please do not park in the cafe car park as it gets full with customers, there's plenty of parking all around the area.

What to expect:

First off we'll get you straight on the water so you can show me where you're currently at. Then you'll come back to the shore and we'll talk through what you want to learn. I'll give you a brief and from there you'll head out and start practicing the various exercises we've decided upon.
Our lessons are designed to give you the confidence to paddle independently or to take you to the next level if you’re already paddling well. As a result the exact exercises we cover will be dependent on you your current level and needs.

Every thing we teach includes both fundamental personal paddling and safety & rescue skills.
