307m long and 38m high, the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct is the tallest aqueduct in the world. 

Perfect for couple, families, friend groups and anyone wanting to see the Dee Valley from a unique view point!

Once you have parked at the Community Centre, turn RIGHT out of the carpark and walk up the road for 100m. 
You will see the canal on your left.
Look out for a trailer of RED canoes - that's us!
There is free parking at the canal side, or down the road at the Froncysyllte Community Centre.

What to expect:

In this guided session, you will spend 2 hours with one of our instructors paddling along the Llangollen canal, surrounded by the beautiful Welsh countryside.
Led by a qualified and experienced instructor, who has a genuine passion for the sport, you will canoe over the tallest aqueduct in the world - The Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. We will start the session by teaching you the basics of how to paddle a canoe, and give you some more helpful tips along the way.

This can be a relaxing journey through a UNESCO World Heritage site, taking in the scenery, or it can be full of games, races, and learning. The perfect session for everyone, even your dog.
