Invergordon Loch Ness and Castle Experience

This group tour heads straight to Urquhart Castle to beat the cruise crowds so that you can enjoy one of Scotland's most historic castles. You will then take a Jacobite cruise from the dock at Urquhart Castle which is without doubt the best way to experience Loch Ness and the Great Glen. Also included on this tour is Inverness, Culloden Battlefield Visitor Centre and Clava Cairns.

As you walk out of the gates to the port you will see a 6ft 7" bald man in a kilt, that's me. Your guide will be there and we'll be marking guests off on our lists so all you need is your names and we'll do the rest. As Invergordon is a small town we try to park as close as possible to the port but unfortunately we can't park right outside the gates. There is a short walk to your bus from where you meet us but you will be taken there by one of our employees so you won't get lost. If you have trouble walking or mobility issues please let us know in advance so that we can be prepared on the day.

Urquhart Castle

Arrive at the 14th-century Urquhart Castle ruins (entry included), magnificently situated right on the edge of the loch it is one of the most photographed scenes in Scotland. Enjoy a video presentation and an optional audio tour plus your guide will be there to answer any questions. You'll have time to explore the ruins and enjoy the magnificent views over Loch Ness.

Loch Ness by Jacobite - Dochgarroch Lock

10:30am Cruise on Loch Ness from Urquhart Castle to Dochgarroch Locks on the Jacobite Rebel (entry included). A 60-minute cruise on the world famous loch is the best way to experience Loch Ness and the Great Glen. You will learn all about Nessie the Loch Ness Monster and hear about the history and geology of the fresh water lake. Loch Ness is surrounded by beautiful scenery and mountains so sit back, enjoy the views and have your camera out just in case Nessie pops up to say hello. There's also a fully stocked bar and coffee service on board.

Clava Cairns

Balnuaran of Clava, Scottish Highlands, IV2 5EU

Clava Cairns standing stones are a huge draw for Outlander fans as the best examples of standing stones in the area. Even if you're not an Outlander fan which features a selection of standing stones and is an interesting example of a well preserved Bronze Age cemetery.
