Starting and ending in Inverness, this unforgettable sunrise hike takes you to the iconic Fyrish Monument overlooking the Cromarty Firth. Departing under a starlit sky, we’ll hike up Fyrish Hill with torches, timing our journey to catch the sunrise from the summit. Along the way, learn about the monument’s fascinating history and its cultural significance. At the top, enjoy a warming drink and take in the panoramic views—though visibility depends on weather and cloud cover. On our return, we’ll stop at the Storehouse café on the banks of the firth, where you can relax with a drink or snack before heading back to Inverness.

At the summit, you'll discover the remarkable Fyrish Monument, where our guides will share its intriguing history, including the unique story behind its construction. Enjoy ample time to capture breathtaking photos of the sweeping views across the firth and beyond. The hike will take approximately 2.5 hours, allowing us to tailor the pace to different fitness levels, with two guides accompanying the group.
