Landscapes and Seascapes Photography Tour of Edinburgh

What To Bring:

• You will need to bring a camera (which has the ability to have its exposure set manually) and a sturdy tripod. Most of the images we will be taking will tend to be using wider angle lenses, although if you have a long zoom such as a 70 - 200mm then bring that as well. We will also be using filters throughout the workshop, as a minimum you will need to have at least one graduated filter and one neutral density filter. Please contact me well in advance of the workshop if you don’t own filters and want some advice on the best ones to purchase.
• We will walk on some rough terrain such as beaches and rocks, and it is likely that we will be by the edge of the water so there is a chance that your shoes could get wet. Please ensure that you are wearing footwear that can cope with these conditions, such as sturdy waterproof boots or wellingtons. Wrap up warm, as we will be shooting from before dawn right though to after sunset and it can get cold.

Please Note:

• Don’t forget to charge the batteries on your camera and if possible bring spares, battery life is reduced in cold weather. Also remember to bring empty memory cards; we'll be taking about 150 photographs during the session. 
• We will stop for lunch during the day (please note lunch is not included), however, it can be good to have snacks such as breakfast bars during the day.
