Over the next two hours, they'll show you around the fully functioning distillery that has stood proud over the town of Newton Stewart for over 200 years. Learn how whisky is made and the complex equipment that is used to create it, as well as having a go at using the tools yourself! Finally, you'll enjoy a tutored tasting of 4 whiskies, and be handed a Glencairn tasting glass to take home.

The majority of the walkways are open-grid floors which may not be suitable for anyone with a fear of heights.

No children under the age of 14 are permitted on the tour.

SILENT SEASON
The distillery will not be in production for two periods throughout the year, 6 weeks in July/August, and 2 weeks in December/January. During this time all tours operate as normal, and you will be able to see every part of the distillery. Tours during this time are marked 'Silent Season'.

Our "Silent Season" this year will commence on Tuesday 18th July 2023

Please note the distillery is not wheelchair friendly and guests will be required to walk up multiple flights of steps.

Cancellations & Refunds

Reservation Changes, Cancellations & Refunds

Changes to reservations for tickets can be made until 3 days prior to the date scheduled. Reservations may be re-scheduled by the operator of the activity due to reasons such as weather, minimum participation requirements, mechanical issues or other interruptions beyond their control.

All gift certificate sales are final and not refundable. Gift certificates can only be exchanged prior to redemption.
